Hinen to Showcase SOLAR AFRICA 2024

2024-06-17

On the vast African continent, about 600 million people live in environments lacking electricity, accounting for nearly half of Africa's total population. At the same time, Africa, the world's second-fastest-growing continent, is expected to host more than a quarter of the world's population by 2050, undoubtedly bringing unprecedented challenges to its energy supply. However, Africa also has abundant energy resources—60% of the world's solar resources. Unfortunately, photovoltaic installations on this land account for only 1% of the global total. This stark contrast reveals Africa's infinite potential and opportunities for energy transformation.

Against the backdrop of this transformation wave, SOLAR AFRICA 2024, the largest and most influential solar event in Kenya, will be held from June 26 to 28. Industry experts, scholars, and corporate representatives will gather to discuss, share, and showcase the latest technologies and best practices, contributing wisdom and strength to the realization of energy revolution.

Hinen at SOLAR AFRICA 2024

Hinen will showcase its latest residential energy storage solutions at Booth 100, supporting the power transformation of Kenya and the entire African continent.
Hinen's key product at this exhibition is the Base system, which integrates a 6kW off-grid inverter Base 6i and a 5kWh low-voltage battery module Base 5b. It is compatible with multiple energy inputs such as photovoltaic panels, batteries, diesel generators, and the grid, and can switch to backup power within 10 milliseconds, ensuring stable and reliable power supply for households and commercial users under any circumstances.

The Base system not only has powerful functionality, with a wide range of storage capacity options from 5kWh to 120kWh, but also features flexible smart off-grid and hybrid mode switching capabilities. The system supports up to 6 inverters in parallel, capable of a maximum 54kW photovoltaic input, meeting energy needs of different scales. In addition, its unique generator port supports generator, secondary output, and micro-inverter functions, and the battery also supports remote firmware upgrades. The system uses cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are highly safe, support rapid installation, and stacking design, and do not require complex cable connections.

Hinen hopes to establish deeper cooperative relationships with more partners through this exhibition, jointly promoting the transformation and development of the African power industry. Hinen firmly believes that only through technological innovation and industry collaboration can a green, efficient, and sustainable energy future be realized.
