Hinen’s H15S Single-Phase Hybrid All-in-One RESS: HERIC and Interleaved BUCK-BOOST Technologies

In the field of energy storage and inverter technology, Hinen’s H15S single-phase hybrid all-in-one RESS has significantly enhanced energy conversion efficiency and greatly reduced ripple current through its innovative interleaved HERIC technology and interleaved BUCK-BOOST circuit design. This not only extends the product’s lifespan but also offers a high off-grid output power of up to 15kW at 230V/63A, capable of supporting full-load power supply for homes. Interleaved HERIC Technology

Interleaved HERIC technology is a key patented technology submitted by Hinen, which optimizes and improves upon the traditional HERIC (High Efficiency Renewable Integration Converter) topology. Compared to conventional HERIC technology, Hinen’s interleaved HERIC technology offers the following significant advantages:

Higher Energy Conversion Efficiency

· By employing a multi-channel interleaved parallel approach, the carrier phase of each inverter is evenly staggered by 360°/N, reducing the peak-to-peak inductor current ripple by a factor of N compared to ordinary parallel modes.

· This not only reduces the size of the inductor but also enhances the overall system efficiency, particularly under high-load conditions.

Lower Ripple Current

· The multi-inverter interleaved parallel mode effectively disperses ripple current, reducing total harmonic distortion (THD) and making the system more grid-friendly and less stressful for load equipment.

Longer Electrolytic Capacitor Lifespan

· In traditional HERIC systems, high ripple currents can cause excessive heating of electrolytic capacitors, shortening their lifespan.

· Hinen’s interleaved HERIC technology reduces ripple current, thereby alleviating the workload on electrolytic capacitors and extending their lifespan, which in turn extends the overall product lifespan.

Current Sharing Control

· Hinen’s interleaved HERIC system employs software-controlled active current sharing to ensure balanced current across each inverter bridge arm, avoiding current imbalance caused by hardware parameter variations.

Interleaved BUCK-BOOST Circuit Design
